Adaptive Kayaking

stewart-06

Team River Runner is adept at helping people who, for whatever reason, believe they may be unable to paddle a kayak. Some with missing limbs, others who are visually impaired, still others with head injuries or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder find that sometimes simple techniques can get them out on the water with confidence.

We use specialized equipment, adaptive paddling techniques, and highly skilled trainers who use American Canoe Association methodologies to get anyone who is interested in learning this sport into a boat, safely. Safety is always at the top of our list!
