Chapter COVID-19 Message

Susquehanna Valley Team River Runner (TRR) provides health and healing for military injured, active duty, veterans, and disabled members of community through therapeutic kayaking and other forms of adventure paddling. We are made up of volunteer experienced kayakers, canoeists and certified instructors. The program is physically demanding and socially supportive to help participants develop a lifestyle of fitness and outdoor adventure.

Founded in 2015, Susquehanna Valley TRR is engaging veterans and members of the community, both with and without disabilities, in paddle sports in Central PA. Our recent trip destinations include the Lehigh River, Muddy Creek, Susquehanna River, Conestoga River, and the Youghiogheny River. To date, we have served over 155 paddlers, nearly 100 of whom are Veterans and their family members. We have worked with blind and visually impaired children and their parents/guides as well as Easter Seals campers through our Veterans Serving the Community program. Anyone who can do these simple tasks can learn how to safely kayak to add sports and adventure to their lives.
